This parish is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Westminster, headed by His Eminence Cardinal George Basil Hume OSB. It is in the North London Pastoral Area served by Bishop Vincent Nichols.

The Mother Church of the parish is St Gabriel's, South Harrow. The present church was erected in 1932-1933 as a temporary building, but still caters for a congregation of 600 or more every weekend. It is hoped to replace this with a new building before the end of the millenium.

In the early 1960s a new church and parish house was build in Northolt, the southern part of the parish. St Bernard's was opened in 1965 and has about 550 worshippers at the Sunday Masses.

The parish is served by the parish team of Fr John Donlan, Fr George Lyons and Sr Rosalie Corish; Parish Secretary, Sue Regan; The Pastoral Council and by many lay workers: Eucharistic Ministers, Catechists, Home Visitors, Youth Workers, Tea Makers to mention only a few.
