The selection of daily gospel passages follow the daily and weekly gospel lectionary readings from the Roman Catholic Lectionary and the Revised Common Lectionary. The Common Lectionary is an ecumenical collaboration produced by the North American Consultation on Common Texts (CCT) and the International English Language Liturgical Consultation (ELLC) whose membership includes the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops as well as many traditional "mainline" American and Canadian Protestant denominations.
