The Ya'ar Yehudiya Nature Preserve stretches down from Katzrin to the Sea of Galilee.  It offers excellent hikes and vistas in the Golan Heights.  One trail leads to the Brekhat Ha-Meshushim (Hexagon Pool), a rocky gorge leading to a waterfall and pool.  Here one can see hundreds of of hexagonal rock columns, caused by the rapid cooling of molten rock, which skirt the water's edge.
