35th Anniversary for Fr. Pat Egan
Fr. Pat Egan,
ordained in 1967 as a Roman Catholic Priest for the Archdiocese of Westminster
in London, England, celebrated his 35th anniversary to the priesthood with
several hundred members of Christ the King Parish in Ann Arbor, along
with a number of local clergy, including Bishop Carl Mengling, and friends
from various local Protestant congregations, Catholic parishes, The Servants
of the Word, and members of Washtenaw Covenant Community. Fr. Charlie Irvin,
Pastor of St. Mary's in Manchester and editor-in-chief of
Faith Magazine
, who is also celebrating his 35th anniversary at this time, gave a stirring
homily and tribute to Fr. Pat at the Anniversary Mass of Thanksgiving.
Fr. Pat has been
active for many years in church renewal, ecumenism, and in lay movements in

]He is presently chaplain at Dominos Farms.
He is the founder of the Ann Arbor
Catholic Men's Movement
and a liason for the national Cathoic Men's Movement and Promise Keepers.
He has a weekday radio broadcast, and in his spare time he leads the University
