New Orleans in April

By Andre Villere

We are looking forward to seeing all of our CCFM members and exhibitors in the Crescent City next month. Spring weather can be whimsical; chances are it will be warm in the day, and we hope a little cooler in the evening. A poncho or umbrella may come in handy in case of afternoon showers.

In terms of dress, New Orleans is fairly casual city. If you plan to dine at some of our finer restaurants such as Galatoire's or Commander's Palace, however, bring along a jacket and tie. Try to stay long enough to take in a French Quarter, plantation, or swamp tour. For jazz enthusiasts there's always Preservation Hall, and numerous other clubs in the quarter. History buffs will enjoy a visit to the Historic New Orleans Collection, the D-Day Museum, or the site of the Battle of New Orleans. See you soon!
