The Parish of St. Cedd was formed in 1966, by the acquisition of the Methodist Church and was built at the turn of the century on the corner of Blythswood Road/ High Road.
The Parish covers an area of Chadwell Heath in the north, Goodmayes in the south, Seven Kings in the west and abuts the Parish of St. Vincent’s, Dagenham in the east.
The Parish serves the Goodmayes Hospital and King George Hospital in Barley Lane.
