SKILL-LEVEL BASED EDUCATION

In grades 1-8, children are tested in Reading and Mathematics and grouped according to ability, not age or grade level.  For two classes a day, students gather, learn, and progress according to ability.  Students are re-evaluated each quarter.  Gifted children, children with learning disabilities and ESL children benefit greatly from Skill-Level Based Education.  It creates a positive learning environment that promotes community, builds self-esteem, and challenges students at all levels and of all abilities.
