Our magnificent modern church continues to
serve us well. Professor Mumford of Washington
University's School of Architecture recently
wrote me calling it "your amazing and
beautiful church." We can share more
with you about its architectural significance
in times to come. The beautiful tower, 130
feet high, was recently relit so it stands
out above the surrounding neighborhood each
night.
Our parish staff is a lively, dedicated bunch, with a new
pastor as of October '95 and new principal
also. Our school is a vital part of the parish and the neighborhood. We continue to get a viable enrollment,
quality teachers, and to keep up with new
demands via a Technology Committee and computer
training, with a new Computer Lab opening
next year.
Organizations include Men's Club, Women's Club, C-4 (part
of area-wide Churches Committed to Community
Concerns ecumenical organization), St. Ann
Sodality, and many more. And check out the
media coverage we got for Wayne Gretzky Day!
