Carol Singing at St Joseph's

St Josephs Old People Homes is in Gilmore Place and is run by the Little Sisters of the Poor who have been in Edinburgh since Bishop Gillis brought them in the mid-nineteenth century. A group of youngsters, parents and friends assembled on the last Saturday before Christmas. After a warmup in the dinning room we went round each of the living areas singing the familiar Christmas carols with guitar and, sometimes, percussion accompaniement.
