Please keep all these people in your prayers Prayer Requests:If you want someone on the prayer list, you need to contact the office and when this person is better and can be removed from the prayer request, you also need to contact the office and let Jane know. Rosary Group:Rosary in February will be at the home of Teresea Tidwell, 2900 Broadway. This takes place on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. All are welcome. Parish Council Meeting:Fr.Jarek will meet with Parish Council on March 14, 2012. This meeting will be immediately after the 6:00pm Mass. Next Finance Council:The next Finance Council meeting is Feb. 22 at 6:30pm. Please make an effort to attend. The Mirror:There is an envelope in your box for February 12, the Mirror. Please put your donation in. If you receive the Mirror, we have to pay for it whether you pay or not. We usually get about half the money collected that we have to pay. If you do not receive the Mirror and want to, please let the church office know so this oversight can be corrected. SHAL Suppers:Please not the SHAL supper has been postponed until Wednesday, Feb 29 after the 6:00pm Mass. Father will not be here the week of Feb 13-17. The menu: Chicken Spaghetti, rolls, peach cobbler, and tea or coffee. All you can eat for $5.00. We would like very much for you to sign up for our meal and come join us. Second Collection:There will be a second collection for Catholic Home Missions on February 26. There is an envelope in your box. There are 88 home mission dioceses in the US. These dioceses are unable to fund basic and essential pastoral works such as catechesis, seminary formation, and lay leadership training, and are unable to attend to the unique needs of the communities they serve. With your support, the Catholic Home Missions Appeal helps to ease the struggle and form vibrant faith communities. Please help strengthen the Church at home. Be generous in this Appeal. Youth Minister needed:St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO is currently taking applications to hire a Youth Minister for the parish. Applicant must have, or be working toward, a bachelor degree in theology or catechist certification. The position is full time with benefits. There is more information in the office if you are interested. Camp Re-New-All:It is that time again. There is a need for camper & staff. There are applications in the vestibule for everything. There are also brochures with all the information needed. For questions, call the church office. Bells:You may have noticed the differene in tone of the bells at the consecration. We have new bells due to the generosity of the local Knights of Columbus group. Thank you KCs. Thank you for your generosity. CLS meetings:The Catholic Ladies will not meet in January or February.
