IC School in New Madrid:is seeking a principal and a Pre K/Kindergarten teacher for the 2008/2009 school term. Please contact Fr. Randy if you are interested.

Rosary before Mass:For the month of May, the Rosary will be recited twenty minutes before each Mass including Sundays. The Rosary Group will meet at Carmen Shepard's apartment #7 at Walker & 7th Street. The time is each Thursday at 6:00pm. All are welcome to participate.

Finances:The collection for the month of April (4 weekends) was: General Collection $3,986; Building & Maintenance $103.

Parish Council Election and Meeting:Thank you to Nick Thiele and Mike Wright for their years of fine service. The two new Council members are Lawrence Dorroh and Tony Jarboe. There will be a meeting of the Parish Council on May 14, Wednesday evening at 7:30pm.

Birthdays:On the table in the back of church, Lynn Khourie has a list of parish members with a place for your birthdays. She would like to have a list of people every month on the parish web site of parish members that are celebrating birthdays. It is not necessary to put the year, just the month and day. Thank you, your participation is appreciated.

Sr. Darlene's Final Profession of Vows:is Saturday, June 7th at St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro, Kentucky at 2:00pm. Sr.Kathleen will also be celebrating her 50th Anniversary. Please contact the office by Sunday, May 25th if you would like to attend. Please keep Sr. Darlene and all the Glenmary Sisters in your prayers.

DDF:This year DDF will start today, Sunday, May 4th. Please consider carefully the amount you will be able to donate. This is the operating capital of the diocese, so please be generous.

Ordination DVD:A DVD or VHS copy of the Ordination of Bishop Johnston will be available by the end of april to those wishing to order a copy. Cost for the DVD or VHS is $10, shipping included. Order forms are available upon request.

Pilgrimage to Italy:Join Fr. Greg Hart, Pastor of mary Mother of God Church in Harrison Ar and other pilgrims on a journey trhough Italy "In the Footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi and Padre Pio" September 22-October 3. The cost, phone numbers, and itinerary are on the bulletin board.
