The Monday Club 10th Anniversary Celebration

" The Club came into being, at the initiation of Fr Nolan, our former PP,  to cater for the needs of certain sections/areas in our Parish not already addressed.  Fr Nolan invited both Martha (Brown) & Siobhan (Ross)  to form a Committee to help make this dream a reality. The rest is history.  Our initial Committee Members were Martha Brown, Siobhan Ross, Anne Martin, Maurine Dunsmore and Anne Brant.   Our Aims/Objectives are to provide a Christian Fellowship for members of the Church and Community with a programme of cultural and social pursuits.  We had our first Monday Club Meeting, attended by 25 parishioners, up at The Hall, Braemar Gardens, on Monday 26th April 1999.  We meet on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the Month at The Hall, Braemar Gardens.  We have varied speakers, followed by afternoon tea and homemade cakes.  We also have coach outings to places of interest together with theatre outings. We have on average 60-65 members per meeting and are continuing to go from strength".
