How to Find our Church

The church is on the corner of Bird in Bush Road and Friary Road. The entrance is in Bird in Bush Road. The presbytery and the parish offices are next door to the church in Friary Road.

The easiest way to find the church if you are travelling by car is to aim for the Old Kent Road (A2).

If you are coming out of London from the Elephant and Castle, look out for a Tescos on the left, then a McDonalds and a B&Q on the right, then turn right at the traffic lights into Peckham Park Road. The turning is signposted for Peckham.

If you are coming into London from New Cross, look out for a railway bridge over the road, a petrol station and a branch of 'Toys R Us' on the left, then turn left into Commercial Way and right into Bird in Bush Road.

If you are travelling by train, there are two stations available.

Queens Road Peckham is the nearest, but this still means a walk of 15-20 minutes. Turn right out of the station, right again into Asylum Road. Follow this road all the way until you come to the Old Kent Road at a set of traffic lights. Turn left, and then left again into Commercial Way, then right into Bird in Bush Road.

Peckham Rye station is slightly further, but you can pick up a bus which goes near to the church. Take a number 78 and ask for Bird in Bush Road.

If you are coming on the Underground, the easiest way is to aim for the Elephant and Castle (Bakerloo Line). Take a bus with any of the following numbers: 53, 453 or 172. Ask the driver to tell you when you get to 'Canal Bridge' or 'Peckham Park Road' (two names for the same stop). Cross over the Old Kent Road, walk along Peckham Park Road. There is a pedestrians-only entrance into Friary Road, the second turning on the left along Peckham Park Road.
