Children's Liturgy

At the beginning of the 10.30 Mass on Sundays, the younger children (pre-First-Communion age) are invited to go with their catechists to the small hall in the Friary. There they hear the readings from the Mass, in a setting where it is possible to use a dialogue format where they can be more easily explained. Some simple practical task is often set and the children return to the church during the Offertory of the Mass.

On the first Sunday each month the children remain in church, where they come onto the sanctuary, proclaim the readings and the priest addresses himself primarily to them in the homily.
