Things I've Learnt
I've learned that, no matter what happens or how bad it seems today, life
does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she
handles three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree
lights.
I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll
miss them when they're gone from your life.
I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a
"life."
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on
both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But, if you
focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing
the very best you can, happiness will find you.
I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually
make the right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly
pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that you should pass this on to everyone you care about.
I just did.
Sometimes they just need a little something to make them smile.
People will forget what you said ... people will forget what you did... but
people will never forget how you made them feel.
Stunning Words
This gave me goosies from head to toe!
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said good-bye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,
"While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you
use but the children you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
and you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.
picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted
today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway."
I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers,
Especially the blue.
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days? But the
family we left behind will feel the loss for
the rest of their lives? And come to think of it, we pour
ourselves more into work than to our own family -
an unwise investment indeed, don't you think?
So what is behind the story? Do you know what the
word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER, (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU!
A Professional
A woman received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever.
She left work and stopped by the pharmacy for some medication for her
daughter. When returning to her car to find she had locked her keys inside.
She had get home to her sick daughter, and didn't know what to do. She
called home to the baby sitter, and was told her daughter was getting worse.
She said, "You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door."
The woman found an old rusty coat hanger on the ground, as if someone else
had locked their keys in their car. Then she looked at the hanger and
said,"I don't know how to use this."She bowed her head and asked God for
help.
An old rusty car pulled up, driven by a dirty, greasy, bearded man with a
biker skull rag on his head. The woman thought, "Great God. This is what you
sent to help me????" But she was desperate, and thankful.
The man got out of his car and asked if he could help. She said "Yes, my
daughter is very sick. I must get home to her.
Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car." He said, "SURE." He
walked over to the car and in seconds the car was opened. She hugged the man
and through her tears she said, "THANK YOU SO MUCH.....You are a very nice
man."
The man replied, "Lady, I ain't a nice man. I just got out of prison for car
theft."
The woman hugged the man again and cried out loud..... THANK YOU GOD FOR
SENDING ME A PROFESSIONAL!"
Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!!
Lord I love you and I need you. Thank you for living in my heart.

God has brought me out for a reason.
I survived because he has a plan for me.
All my bad relationships, all the suicidal thoughts, the bad credit, the
repossessions, the death of my loved ones, the back stabbing from my
friends, the negative thoughts, or the lack of support.
I made it because I am blessed!
I release and let go of all past hurts, misunderstandings and grudges
because I am blessed!
I recognize them as the illusions they are, for God is all there is. All
else is a lie!
Now give yourself a hug, wipe your tears and walk in the victory!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you, but more importantly, God loves you BEST!
Be blessed and know that you are at one with THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD!

Jesus In Place
A father wanted to read the paper, but was being bothered by his little
daughter, Vanessa. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his magazine, on which
was printed the map of the world.
Thinking to keep her busy, he tore it into small pieces, gave it to
Vanessa,
saying, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together."
After a few minutes, Vanessa returned and handed him the map correctly
fitted together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so
quickly.
"Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper was a picture of Jesus.
When
I got Jesus in His place, then the world came out all right!"
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33 [NKJV]
60 second Prayer
When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out God is all
you need.
U gotta minute?
Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the following
small prayer for the person who sent you this.
Father, God bless ____________ in whatever it is that you know he or she may
be needing this day!
And may __________'s life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as

The Secret
One day, one friend asked another,
"How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy,
and you never seem to get down."
With her eyes smiling, she said,
"I know the Secret!"
"What secret is that?"
To which she replied,
"I'll tell you all about it,
but you have to promise to
share the Secret with others."
"The Secret is this:
I have learned there is little I can do
in my life that will make me truly happy..
I must depend on God to make
me happy and to meet my needs.
When a need arises in my life,
I have to trust God to supply
according to HIS riches.
I have learned most of the time
I don't need half of what I think I do.
He has never let me down.
Since I learned that 'Secret', I am happy."
The questioner's first thought was,
"That's too simple!"
But upon reflecting over her own life
she recalled how she thought a bigger house
would make her happy, but it didn't!
She thought a better paying job
would make her happy, but it hadn't.
When did she realize her greatest happiness?
Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren,
playing games, eating pizza or reading a story,
a simple gift from God.
Now you know it too!
We can't depend on people to make us happy.
Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that.
Trust HIM!
And now I pass the Secret on to you!
So once you get it, what will you do?
YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too!
That GOD in His wisdom will take care of YOU!
But it's not really a secret...
We just have to believe it and do it...
Really trust God!
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.

Special Prayer
Dear Lord,
I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear
this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.
You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said, or thought that
was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day
with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of
each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and
whimper over things I have no control over, and it's the best response
when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You
listen to
my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me
that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the
weak...Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for
others.
I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way.
I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know You intimately.
I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray
for those who don't believe.
But I thank you that I believe.
I believe that God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers and for each and every family member
in their households.
I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and
all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands
for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of
every eye that sees it.

The Cross
A young man was at the end of his rope, seeing no way out, he dropped to his
knees in prayer
"Lord, I can't go on," he said.
"I have too heavy a cross to bear."
The Lord replied, "My son, if you can't bear its weight, just place your
cross inside this room.
Then, open that other door and pick out any cross you wish."
The man was filled with relief and said,
"Thank you Lord," and he did as he was told.
Upon entering the other room, he saw many crosses;
Some so large the tops were not visible.
then, he spotted a tiny cross leaning
against a far wall.
"I'd like that one, Lord," he whispered.
The Lord replied,
"My son that is the cross you just brought in."
When life's problems seem overwhelming, it helps to look around and see
what other people are coping with.
You may consider yourself far more fortunate than you imagined.
Whatever your cross
Whatever your pain
There will always be sunshine
After the rain
Perhaps you may stumble
Perhaps even fall
But God's always there
To help you through it all
Funny how you can send
a thousand "jokes" through
E-mail and they spread like wildfire,
But when you start sending messages
Regarding the Lord,
People think twice about passing it on.
Funny, isn't it,
When you go to forward this message,
How many on your buddy list will not receive it
Because you're not sure they believe in anything?
Funny?
No!
