Education for Parish Service, working in partnership with the University of Wales, Lampeter, offers a Bachelor of Theology degree. 

It is also possible to study for a Diploma in Pastoral Theology.  

Our Mission

To enable laymen and women to serve the needs of their parish and community in collaboration with their priest and other lay people.

We do this by:

V     deepening their understanding of the Catholic Faith and relating it to their experience of living the Gospel today

V      creating an environment where those preparing for a variety of ministries can grow through praying together and shared exploration of the life and mission of the Church

Both the Batchelor of Theology Degree and the Diploma Course in Pastoral Theology share a common course content and timetable.

The difference between the two programmes is the level of assessment and the qualification awarded.

Therefore the details provided in the following pages refer to both programmes, any specific differences are noted in the text.
