Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council meets six times a year with an additional Annual General Meeting. Its main responsibility, following canon law, is to give help to the parish priest in fostering pastoral action. Part of doing this is its consultative vote. .
Finance Committee
The Parish Finances are managed by an accountant and a small Finance Committee. This Committee helps in the running of the Gift Aid Scheme. At the beginning of the financial year an appeal is made to join the scheme. The scheme raises over £8000, which is a little more than half of what our Parish has to pay towards the A.D.F. Diocesan Development Fund for schools.
The finance committee also handles monies from fairs and fetes.
Maintenance Committee
The Maintenance Committee supervises the maintenance of the Church and Parish Centre in consultation with the parish priest. The committee may employ a builder for the regular clearance of drains and gutters.
