St Teresa's Catholic Primary School is proud to serve
St Teresa's Parish. We work closely with our clergy and parishioners.
We take children from the age of 4½ to age 11, giving
priority to baptised Catholic children resident within the parish. The
governors decide which children to admit, guided by our published
admissions policy. We admit 30 children to Reception class each year.
We have about 210 children in 7 classes. Our buildings
are just over 20 years old and we occupy a pleasant, spacious site on
Quantock Drive.
Our recent inspection report (2008) says:-
"St Teresa's provides a good standard of education for its pupils because
it is well led and managed, and teaching and the curriculum are good.
Parents express positive views about the school and rightly say that it is
a 'happy school, where children are valued, work hard and achieve well'. Full report:www.ofsted.gov.uk)
We have a thriving PTA who support the school and a
committed staff and governing body. We welcome visits to the school and
you are warmly invited to visit our website or ring and request a parents'
handbook.
