I've just been browsing on the web in a rare quiet moment at the office and and St Gregory must have guided my mouse to this site. So good to see the much loved school and read the message board. May God bless everyone at St Gregory's. We certainly feel blessed to have been asociated with it. With love from the Nowlans.

Wow, its amazing how time flies. I was a
yr 6 pupil at St Gregorys in 1991!.
Even more amazing is the fact that Mrs Connick
is still around.
Probably to the surprise of the teachers who may
remember me at St Gregs, I have decided to do
a PGCE and become a primary school teacher!. I
still enjoy all the sports and singing, acting and
poetry writing I did when I was there.....
Nice website Mrs C ( and kids)
Keep up the good work

Have really enjoyed browsing your site. Well done on your BECTA award. As a writer and illustrator of children's books I enjoyed reading your poems you wrote with the help of a local poet. If you want to see some work the children have produced in schools I have visited, you can visit my webpages at www.nmeredith.freeserve.co.uk. I hope children can send me E-mails with questions about writing and illustrating and I promise I will reply just as soon as I can. I also enjoyed your jokes page. Thank you for letting the mayor, councillors and myself visit you all at school recently. It was very interesting to learn about what you are all doing. I hope that it was interesting for you to find out what we are meant to be doing as well!
One thing that might be interesting to you is that in the new year, everyone in Bollington will be given the opportunity to write what they think about Bollington, and School in the MILLENNIUM BOOK. Hopefully I will be able to bring the book to school for you to write in it in January. What would you say about Bollington? Is it a nice place or not? What do you think about school and your teachers?
I shall look forward to seeing you again soon.
Best wishes

Enjoyed the tour around your school, particularly liked photographs and samples of childrens work. Given me lots of ideas for our own web site. We are an RC school of similar size so your site has been of great interest. Many thanks.

I am a Primary Education student at Sunderland University. My IT assignement involves which skills children use when generating Web pages. I would be grateful if you could e-mail me to tell me what the children actually did. Did they use digital cameras, for example. Hope you can help, many thanks. Valerie Warren

Excellent website, well done to all concerned. Accessed this site via a link from "Bollington and Rainow Home Page http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/rnicolson/ and found that by just entering Bollington for a search. Some good pictures of the flood too. Hope this helps. Cheers Anthony Holland.
I remember when I was back at St Gregs in the dark ages (1983) there was great excitement because we were going to have a computer in the top class. It arrived in 1984. Typical. Mind you, computers were probably only a passing fad, and wouldn't catch on would they! Internet, whats that? Anyway, I had a great time at St Gregorys, it is the best school in Bollington.
PS. On the flood report it says the River Bollin and not the Dean, could this be amended, because I am quite picky about these things.
Best Wishes for the future from your extremely sensible local councillor, and can I borrow some of your jokes to liven up the Council meetings. Cheers, Anthony Holland.
