1.       Review of last school year

Maisa gave a review of her year as Chairman, and ran through the events that were held and the monies raised.

Maisa thanked all the parents who had helped throughout the year at different events and particularly wanted to thank the parents who helped at every event and attended the meetings and were a great support to her throughout her year as Chairman.

Maisa thanked Ann & Paul Sadler for all their help, for all the hard work they put in to supplying the school uniform and also a big thanks on behalf of the children for obtaining a football kit free of charge from our uniform suppliers.

Also John & Jo MacKintosh for their help, particularly with the gardening club, and again Paul Sadler for supplying the materials and building a compost bin.

Julie Taylor for taking over the running of the walking bus from Maisa.

Thanks to Sue as Secretary and Chris as Treasurer, and once again all the parents and teachers who helped out over the year, everyone’s contributions were greatly appreciated.

2.       Treasurers Report

Chris thanked Maisa for all her hard work over the year.  We had a very good year with some great events, the Harvest Ball, the Beach Party and the Summer Fair.  Chris also thanked Jane Bromlow who did a sponsored walk and raised £100 for PTA funds.

We purchased a further interactive white board so there is now one in every classroom and still have £1839.25p in the account which is a great start to the new school year.

Chris asked Mrs Clowes to consider school needs and let us know what they require.

Mrs Clowes, on behalf of all the children and staff, thanked the PTA for their contributions and hard work which is greatly appreciated.

3.       Forthcoming Events

Friday 11th November – Harvest Ball

December – Snowman Drive (date to be decided nearer the time)

4.       Election of Officers

Maisa stood down as Chairman having agreed to take on the role for one year only.

Chris Bennett having completed two years as treasurer stood down as required.  PTA rules state that a post should be held for no more than two years by the same person.

Sue McKernan agreed to continue as Secretary for a further year.

Volunteers were then requested for the two vacancies and were elected as follows
