At this time of sadness, words cannot ease your pain,
there's a place Maria's parting left that can never be the same.
No one knows when the time will come when you all have to part,
that's why she's left sweet memories to heal your broken heart.
Even though she's resting now, she's just beyond your view,
at peace she'll be contented that her love will help you through.
So look for her in rainbows and in every sunny day
and then she can remind you that she's never far away.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

"WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE CHILDREN"
When God calls little children to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of his love
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud, before she can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but a few
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.
