The needs of the legitimate poor are real. In the third year of its existence our food bank extends assistance to about 140 households per month in the zip code area 18634. Food is donated from three sources: federal and state commodities, and free will offerings from individuals, organizations, and the community at large. We are very grateful for any and all help that is given. A core group of volunteers is available when the Food Bank is open the first four (4) Wednesdays of every month, and when food deliveries are made. We are always in need of more help.
