The RCIA journey is a process which can help one to decide whether their faith journey will lead them to accept full membership and communion with the Roman Catholic Church Tradition. This faith journey is made in union with a community, primarily others within the RCIA as well as the Church Community of Prince of Peace, and the larger Catholic Community of the Archdiocese. It is important to know that although each person's journey is his/her own Faith Journey; however, the journey is made within the larger Church community.
A Faith Journey is so individually focused that it requires one's full participation and response. It is understood that today's stresses take up a great deal of a person's time, energies and commitments so the actual class work will be discussed in class sessions. Oftentimes, there will be supplementary reading materials given out which will follow the readings and class discussions. These readings will be discussed either in class or on an individual basis.
Within the journey it is expected that there be complete confidentiality from all involved in all matters pertaining to the participants and facilitators.
