Dear Friends,

I hope you are enjoying these lazy days of summer--they are a time of rest and refreshment. They are also, for many, a time to do projects around the house (a little paint here, a little clean-up there!)

This is certainly true here at St. Gabriel's: our church building has benefited from some repair and a fresh coat of paint. Some much needed attention was paid to the sidewalk in the front of the Parish Hall and School, and the library entrance to the school is being rebuilt.

Needless to say this all takes money, and we are so grateful to our wonderful parishioners for your unfailing generosity.

We thank all who have contributed so far to our Annual Appeal--we still owe about $26,000 toward our goal of $102,500. We are so grateful for everyone who has contributed to this effort--and we invite all who can to please consider doing so. Together we can accomplish great and wonderful things for the sake of the Kingdom.

A word of thanks to all who contribute time and talent to our parish life and ministries--we are so grateful! So often you are the face of Christ--your friends and neighbors encounter God's grace in you!

May God's blessings abound in your life today and always! AMEN!
