The month of May brings special moments to the lives of many. Congratulations to all our children who received First Holy Communion on May 3rd. Our greetings go out to all mothers at this time. Mother's Day is one of the special family occasions of the year for so many. This year Mother's Day is also Pentecost Sunday. There has to be a message or story flowing from such a connection. May the Spirit of God, life and love be there for one and all. Graduations are also drawing near for those at varied stages of education. Congratulations and good wishes to all graduates.

As this year draws to a close we find ourselves saying goodbye to Sr. Bernice as a member of St. Gabriel's Staff. Sister has been here for fifteen years. Her faith, enthusiasm and selfless dedication helped many adults and children along the way. Sister will continue to be present at St. Gabriel helping us in varied ways. After all she is too "young" and energetic to completely retire!

Thanks to one and all for your generosity of time and talent in serving the parish this past year. Thanks also for your ongoing financial support. The care and commitment of you, our parishioners, is second to none.
