TAIZE PRAYER

After a hard week's work, come enjoy a relaxing hour of prayer. It's free and good for you!  (How many things can you say that about?)

Parish Picnic

Sunday, June 6th; noon - 5:00p.m.
St. Patrick's Seminary
320 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park

Food and drinks will be provide for those who RSVP with Bill & Angela Sicord at 242-4648.  You can also come the day of; just be sure to bring your own food.

Directions:  Take 280 South to 380 East (101 connector) then take 101
South (marked, San Jose) to Willow Road West, it is the first exit after
Marsh Road.  Follow Willow Road for about 1 mile to Middlefield Road
(Chevron station on the corner) bear right.  Seminary entrance comes short
distance past the firehouse.  Turn right into the grounds then bear to the
left. Please do not park on the lawn!
 

Game Night

Sunday, June 13; 6:45 - 8:30pm
Bishop Quinn Parish Center

Starting this June, Crossroads will start meeting twice a month; every second and fourth Sunday.  On the second Sunday of every month will be a Game Night in the Parish Center starting right after the 5:30pm Young Adult Mass.
Please bring your friends, a favorite party game, and a snack to
share. Drinks will be provided.
 

Planning Meeting

Bishop Quinn Parish Center

If you are interested in helping plan and/or lead Crossroads events, please attend the planning meeting and take part in your Young Adult Ministry Program.
If you cannot attend, but still have some suggestions and/or questions, please contact John at 731-0650.
 

Discussion Night: Faith & the Work Place

Sunday, June 27; 6:45 - 8:30pm
Bishop Quinn Parish Center

The topic for this month's Discussion Night (every fourth Sunday after the 5:30pm Young Adult Mass) is Faith & the Work Place.  It's almost impossible NOT to see God in nature, but what about finding God inside of your cubicle?

Please bring your friends and a snack to share.  Drinks will be provided.

St. Gabriel Endless Summer Program

Adults with child-care experience are needed for p-t, paid positions. Afternoon shifts still available from $7.00 - $12.00 per hour.  Call John Paintner for more information.
 

"Richard's Ragin' Cajun Festival"

Saturday, June 26th; 6:30pm - midnight
Our Lady of Angels, Burlingame

OLA's 20s/30s Group is sponsoring a fundraising event to benefit
Richard Louisell and the Myelin Project.  The evening will feature a Cajun
dinner; a drawing and silent auctions; a no-host bar; & dancing to the music of
"Keeping Our Day Jobs."  The cost is $20 for adults and $7.50 for

Summer Sizzle

Saturday, July 31; noon - midnight
Archbishop Mitty High School, San Jose

The Diocese of San Jose presents the 2nd Annual Summer Sizzle.  The
day includes: large group gatherings, keynote, music, chat rooms with
other young adults, small groups, Mass, dinner, open forum, and a dance.  Cost is
$30 till 6/30/99 ($40 in July and at the door).  For registration call
