Sacrament of Baptism
(Acts 2:38; 16:15,33)
The Sacrament of Baptism is a sacrament of faith. Parents and Sponsors have the responsibility to pass on their faith in building the Kingdom of God. Classes are held for parents and sponsors on the first three Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Please remember that parents and sponsors are
required to attend all three classes prior to the Baptism. The Sacrament
of Baptism is normally celebrated with Holy Mass at 2:00 p.m. on the fourth
Sunday of each month. Please call the Baptism Information line at 979-5572.
Sacrament of Penance & Reconciliation
(John 20:22-23; James 5:16)
The Sacrament of our Lord's healing forgiveness
makes present Jesus' tender mercy in the lives of Christians. Confessions
are heard from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, prior to until five
minuets before all Sunday Masses and by appointment. A frequent reception
of this Sacrament is highly encouraged for all.
Sacrament of Marriage
(Matthew 19:4-6)
Please call one of the priests at least three
months in advance to make arrangements.
First Reconciliation & Holy Communion
(Matthew 19:14)
Children in 2nd Grade prepare for these Sacraments.
Children in Grades 3 and above who need preparation for these Sacraments
will have the opportunity to prepare for them in special classes which
begin in January. Regular classes begin the first week of October and last
until the last week of April.
Sacrament of Confirmation
(Acts 8:15-17; 19:5-6; Hebrews 6:2)
Through this Sacrament the baptized are more perfectly
bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy
Spirit in order to more deeply live the command of Christ by word and deed
and spread the Good News. Confirmation is offered in the Junior year of
High School. Special courses are offered for adults seeking this Sacrament.
Facilities Available for Rental
All rentals are for a five hour period. Rates subject
to change.
McDonald Center Gym is the larger area and accommodates up to 400 people (including dance space). Rental fee for a parishioner is $650, plus a refundable security deposit of $200.
Non-parishioner rate is $800, plus a refundable security deposit of $200. These rates include two security guards.
Parish Hall accommodates up to 150 people (including dance space). Rental fee for a parishioner is $350, plus a $100 refundable security deposit.
Non-parishioner rate is $400, plus a $100 refundable security deposit. These rates include one security guard.
