Bob and Terri McDermott

SK Bob and Terri McDermott are our council’s Family of the Month for December. Sir Knight Bob can usually be found helping with breakfast tacos. He also helps with the St Brigid Youth Spaghetti Dinner and can be found at most of the council BBQs. He also helps with the Christmas Turkey roast. Brother Bob and Terri usually attend Sunday 10:30 Mass where they can be found ministering to our parish and to our fellow Knights by serving as Eucharist Ministers when ever they are needed. Terri is the president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Bob and Terri have led the effort to provide dinner for approximately 90 Brother Knights for the November San Antonio Chapter meeting and led the effort for the St Brigid Knights Christmas Party. The McDermott family continues to be a sterling example of an exemplary Knight of Columbus Family. We are fortunate to have this Family as a member of our council. Chuck Green

The Knight of the Month for December 2008 is Sir Knight Chuck Green. Brother Chuck performs the duties of Advocate for Council 11596. Brother Chuck helps with the Breakfast taco sales by purchasing supplies, and preparing and selling tacos. He leads the effort to sell the Christmas Smoked Turkeys and he also helps with the cooking of the turkeys. There are not many Knight fund raisers that Brother Chuck is not involved in. Brother Chuck also heads up our recruitment drives in the fall and spring. Brother Chuck can be found at the 10:30 mass performing duties of Eucharist Minister. Brother Chuck can be counted on to pitch in and help with any project that needs to be accomplished. Brother Chuck is definitely an asset to the Knights of Columbus, to the St Brigid Community and to Council 11596.
