St Brigid's Feast Day
Annually, at
the beginning of February, the church will have an evening pot luck dinner.

Our annual homecoming
in October celebrates the anniversary of the
Parish. Knights and Lady Knights prepare brisket, sausage,
hamburger and hot dog meals, serving 800-1000 people. We will light the fire on at 7:30
pm in the outdoor
Pavilion. The next morning we will begin preparing the meat at 6:30
am, and serving after the 10:30 Mass.

Each year Archbishop Flores sponsors a Brunch to raise funds for
the Battered Women's' Shelter. This is really a fun event with
celebrity waiters, entertainment, silent and live auctions and of
course a great meal.

Tootsie Roll
drives are scheduled in April and October. Check the calendar for
the next date..Gather at the HEB at Babcock and
Huebner at 8:45 am. We will be giving out Tootsie
Rolls and collecting donations for State Charities (Archbishops
Ministry to the Deaf).

Our
Council sponsors five $500 scholarships for members of St Brigid
Parish and their families.

Four
times a year, the fire starts burning by 4 am. By 7 am, Knights are up to their
elbows in frozen chickens.
We
sell over 200 chicken dinners at the 10:30 and 12:30 Masses,
raising hundreds of dollars for our charity work. Thanks to
all who help, especially to the ladies who made the rice

Since its
addition to the Order’s product portfolio in 2000, long-term
care insurance has provided us with an excellent opportunity
to further serve Knights and their families. And for our
long-term care clients in the United States, a KofC Care
policy brings added value. That added value is in the form
of a service called “Provider Pathway,” a program offering
access to a network of long-term care providers at
discounted rates. The network covers: home health care,
personal emergency response systems, adult day care,
assisted living, skilled nursing facilities and durable
medical equipment. Eligibility for participation in this
program is open to Knights of Columbus Long Term Care
Insurance policyholders, their spouses, dependent children,
parents and parents-in-law. All providers are fully
credentialed and meet state licensing requirements. |
 |
If you are not currently an LTC policyholder and you would
like more information on how you can avail yourself of this
benefit, give me a call.
Our Council Insurance Agent is Ken Lemanski You can call him

The San
