The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Fraternal, Social, and Charitable
organization founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael McGivney in New Haven,
Connecticut. Today, over 1.8 million men throughout the world are
members. They and their families are a foundation of the Catholic
Church. There are four degrees in the order, representing virtues
of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. |

The monthly business meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each
month.The Knights and Lady Knights have their separate meetings at 8:00. The meetings are held at St Brigid Catholic Church in San Antonio, 6907 Kitchener Road. (Click

Council 11596 works closely
with St Brigid Catholic Parish in San Antonio, providing funds for various
community and church projects. Some of the charities we support are
Habitat for Humanity and the Texas Deaf Charities.
