Are you feeling a bit haggard this holiday season? Have you had it with rushing about and running into that red-nosed reindeer all around town?

Do you want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet? Would you like a place that is close, comfortable and safe? Would you like to visit a type of Shangri La right in Saginaw?

There is such a place called Queen of Angels Retreat Center. The barrier-free facility welcomes Christians of all denominations. It is open all ear and has been in business for more than 40 years.

A typical retreat starts with Friday night registration and introduction of the weekend agenda. Six buffet-style meals are included. The retreat concludes with a Roman Catholic liturgy on Sunday afternoon.

A weekend retreat would make a wonderful gift for someone who enjoys a spiritual setting. Besides private rooms, Queen of Angels also has a lovely chapel, large library and cozy lounge. One can enjoy a private park by day or gather around a bright fireplace at night.

Silence is observed on Saturday. It gives one time to meditate and listen for the tiny voice deep in one's soul. Guests always leave feeling refreshed and renewed, with love flowing through their hearts.

Doesn't your special someone deserve Shangri-La? The price is very affordable.
