Our Lady of Poland Sacred Heart Society has been a part of our Church since 1920. The ladies gather together on the first Sunday of every month in the afternoon to recite the Litany of the Sacred Heart. These ladies are very devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and his words are close to their hearts: "I will bless everyone who gives honor to my Sacred Heart." At the initial beginning of this Society, there were about sixteen members. Although small in numbers, this group of ladies organized fund raising events, from which proceeds they were enabled to maintain the new Church beautiful.  Thus, they initiated fund raisers, such as card parties and dances at the local Polish Hall.

With the monies realized, they were able to purchase altar linens and other necessary religious items. Most of the original members have been called to their eternal heavenly reward.

As of 1993, our group has increased to about twenty members. We have continued to meet on the first Sunday afternoon of the month.We pray to the Sacred Heart for both new and old members from Poland. These ladies not only join us in prayer, but help to maintain our Church clean and beautiful.The presence of Jesus continues to be with us.

Jesus meek and humble of heart makes our hearts like unto thine!
