BAPTISM. Please call the Parish Office 3 - 4 months before the birth of your child to enroll in the required Baptismal Preparation Program. We encourage baptism at Sunday liturgy of family participation with the community. Baptism can also be celebrated at other times in church. Instructions for parents and sponsors are available by appointment by contacting Deacon Dan Pavlina (607-243-8460). This instruction session must take place before the baptism.

RECONCILIATION. The Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance is celebrated each Saturday at St. Benedict's at 3:30 p.m. . Anyone may call for an appointment with the pastor for this Sacrament or for special counseling. During Advent, Lent, and during our Annual Mission, Penance Services take place. FIRST PENANCE, FIRST EUCHARIST, CONFIRMATION. A program for sacramental preparation for children attending both public and parochial schools is coordinated by the Faith Formation Office and the staff. These sacraments are based on the readiness of the individual, their family, and the faith of the community. Adults wishing to receive these sacraments should also contact this office.
