Pro-Life Rosary
Opening Prayer at the Abortion Clinic
Father, I come to this place as to the new Calvary. I wish to stand here with Mary and those others who stood by the cross of Jesus the day He sacrificed Himself for all of us sinners.
I firmly believe the sorrowful scene before my eyes is nothing less than a reenactment of Jesus' suffering and death already anticipated in the massacre of the innocents of Bethlehem and repeated in the slaughter of these least brethren of His, the tiny children brought here today for the killing.
O Father, I offer you the blood of Jesus, and mingled with it, the blood of these little ones. I ask that you bless the pregnant mothers so they may choose life and also provide the needed grace to soften the hearts of abortionists and their supporters. Please remember Jesus' own prayer from the cross with its echo in Mary's heart: "Father, Forgive them for they know not what they do."
Father, once you told Joseph to take the Child and His Mother far from those seeking the Child's life. I also offer myself to you, as St. Joseph's helper, ready to do everything I can for my beloved Jesus and Mary in the person of any child and mother you entrust to my care.
Dear Father, accept my prayer in the name of Jesus; Amen.
The Holy Rosary
Make the Sign of the Cross.
The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
The Our Father
Three Hail Marys
One for an increase in our faith
One for an increase in our hope
One for an increase in our love
The Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
The Joyful Mysteries
The Annunciation
As Mary accepted with faith her unexpected pregnancy and trusted God to work things out, may all women today accept the life within them and trust God to help them work through their problems.

The Visitation
As Mary and Elizabeth ministered to each other and shared their joy together, may we serve pregnant mothers who are in need.

The Birth of Christ
God came to us at Bethlehem in the form of a baby. May God come to each woman who conceives a child. And may the love she learns to have for her baby open her heart for receiving the love of God.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus

The Finding of Jesus In the Temple
Mary and Joseph were distressed to have lost Jesus in the temple. May those who have lost, or never found Christ, open their hearts to him.

The Sorrowful Mysteries
The Agony in the Garden
Even Christ found it difficult to do his father's will at Gethsemane. May each woman who agonizes whether to choose life or death for her child have the courage to say, "Thy will be done," and choose life.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus
The Scourging at the Pillar
As Christ was scourged, His skin was torn. The pain was agonizing upon His innocent flesh. May the merits of Christ's suffering bring an end to legalized abortions.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus
The Crowning With Thorns
As Christ was crowned with thorns He suffered great humiliation. May we never be afraid of human opinion, pain or humiliation in our Pro-Life apostolate. May we always offer it up for the love of Jesus, in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of the poor souls of sinners.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus
The Carrying of the Cross
Lord, by the time You carried the cross, You were near total exhaustion, yet You went on, giving totally of Yourself. Help us to go on with our Pro-Life efforts, no matter how tired or discouraged we may be. May we never rest until we have given of ourselves completely.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus
The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus
From the cross You said, "Forgive them, they know not what they do." Although You gave Your life, You bore no malice.
As Your heart was pierced, it poured forth love. By the merits of Your death, help us to work without malice, wishing like You, only the conversion of the sinner.
Our Father - (10) Hail Marys - Glory Be - O My Jesus

The Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
On that glorious Easter morning life triumphed over death. Love overcame evil. So it will always be. You came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Thank You, Lord. Help us to always remember that we are children of the resurrection.
Our Father, (10) Hail Marys, Glory Be, O My Jesus
The Ascension
Your work done, You returned to the Father saying, "You will be my witnesses...even to the ends of the earth." So many who are considering abortion are at the ends of the earth, unloved and unloving, hurt, scared, poor, near despair. Help us to lead them upward to you.
Our Father, (10) Hail Marys, Glory Be, O My Jesus
The Descent of The Holy Spirit
Through the Holy Spirit, You live within us. We are Your Apostles for life. May the Holy Spirit guide us as we pray for the unborn, their mothers, and to soften the hearts of the abortionists and their supporters.
Our Father, (10) Hail Marys, Glory Be, O My Jesus
The Assumption of Mary Into Heaven
Mary, you were assumed body and soul into heaven because of your great purity. Pray that we may all live lives of purity and chastity.
Our Father, (10) Hail Marys, Glory Be, O My Jesus
The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven
Mary, as Queen of Heaven you are mother of us all. Beg for us the graces to always have a mother's love for each pregnant mother seeking an abortion, that she may come to know your son, Jesus.
Our Father, (10) Hail Marys, Glory Be, O My Jesus
Closing Prayers
Hail, Holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, o loving, o sweet Virgin Mary.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Prayers for the Holy Father
One (1) Our Father, One (1) Hail Mary, One (1) Glory Be
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Prayer of the Unborn: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life. Grant that the dear mother who gives me birth* may welcome me with love. But if she cannot love me, Lord, grant that she may at least feel compassion, that the life which You have given to me may not be taken away from me even before I am born. I beg this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Closing Hymn - Hail, Holy Queen, Enthroned Above
Hail, holy queen, enthroned above. O Maria! Triumph all ye cherubim; Salve, salve, salve Regina!
The cause of joy to us below. O Maria! Angels all thy praises bring Salve, salve, salve, Regina!
O gentle, loving, holy one. O Maria! Triumph all ye cherubim; Salve, salve, salve, Regina! |
