YOUTH MASS / YOUTH GROUP
Youth Mass: Our parish celebrates a weekly Sunday liturgy
from September through June with a special place for our teens.
The Ministers of this Mass, the greeters, lectors and servers are teens
and the music is specifically chosen with them in mind. The music is
high-energy and spirit-filled. We feel it is important for teens to
realize the liturgy is a place for them to worship and a place where they can be
involved. Along with the teens, an adult advisor is at each liturgy to coordinate
the needs of the Mass. This Youth Mass is celebrated Sundays at 5:00 p.m.Youth Group: St. Teresa Youth Group is for all students in
grades 9-12 and meets twice a month, following the weekly Youth Mass.
An average of 40 - 60 teens meet to discuss issues that effect their
lives, explore their relationship with God and participate in planned
activities that foster friendship, support and spiritual growth. It is a dynamic
and open environment for teenagers to find peer support to empower and
strengthen each other. The meetings are led by a strong core team
