In May our Youth Group will meet on Sundays, May 5 and 19 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the Sonshine Room.  .

 CAMPUS MINISTRY—We are happy to announce that
the Campus Ministry team for CSU-Pueblo will now be
operating out of Christ the King parish. We welcome the students
from CSU-Pueblo to our parish family here at Christ the King. We will have a 6pm university youth Mass on Sundays when CSU-P is in session. All are invited to attend. We will only have this Mass when CSU-P is in session.

 

UPDATE ON “NEW ORGAN FUND”

To date, we have a total of $4,015.00. (Our preliminary goal is to reach the 50% down payment of $35,500.) Remember, you eat an elephant one
bite at a time! And the journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step.
Please notice the “thermometer/keyboard” posted in the  Hall which is helping us keep track. If you can’t help with a large gift, please consider a small one; ask God what He would have you do.

Adoration Program

MASS REQUESTS—To simplify our bookkeeping procedure for Mass stipends, we will no longer schedule a Mass until it is paid for. We are sorry for the inconvenience but it is getting impossible to reconcile our Mass stipends some weeks. Envelopes will soon be available in the pews to use for Mass requests and stipend payments.

Envelope Information
People who use only one envelope a month can use the lower half of their contribution information and their mailing envelope to make their contribution either by mail or the collection basket. Do not include DMF or Mass offerings.
Those who wish to donate weekly and did not pick up their packet at the beginning of the year, need to come to the office and pick up a weekly envelope packet for the rest of the year as these are not mailed.

 You can combine with your tithe , your building fund and needy contributions  and other donations of your choice except mass offerings and your DMF donation. Those who use weekly envelopes will receive quarterly statements. Please note that designating "other" is not your tithe but goes to special collections for that particular month or something you designate. If there are no special collections, and you do not specify a special need, your contribution will be posted to tithe.
