Christ the King Parish Religious Formation Schedule 2011-2012

 

Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade classes meet on Sundays from 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Confirmation I & II meet on the same date, but from 9:20 am – 10:40 am

All high school students who have already been confirmed are invited

to participate in Confirmation classes at no cost.

All classes for these ages will take place in the Formation Center (grades marked on the doors)

Pre-Kindergarten children should be four years old by June 1, 2011

Tuition for one child:  $40      Two Children: $55      Three or more children: $70

 

First Semester (2011)

 

September 18              First Class for Kids (Formation Center) and Parents’ Meeting (Parish Hall)

                                       Fall Welcome Barbeque in Parish Hall after 10:45 Mass

October 2                    Class & Parent Class on New Roman Missal Part 1 (Parish Hall) & Youth Mass

October 9                    Class    (1st Communion parent meeting 9:45 – 10:30 am in church) 

October 16                  Class

October 23                  No Class   (Noon – 4:00 pm   First Reconciliation Retreat in Parish Hall)

October 30                  Class

 

November 6                Class & Parent Class on New Roman Missal Part 2 (Parish Hall) & Youth Mass  (Daylight Saving Time Ends)

December 23               (Friday) Practice for Children’s Christmas Mass @ 10 am in Church

?      Youth Mass:  All children in Pre-Kindergarten – 8th grade will attend the 10:45 am Youth Mass together after class.  Some Youth Masses will feature our teens and some will feature our younger students.

**  When a Family Faith Fest is scheduled, all kids and parents meet together for intergenerational learning (location TBA) from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.  This event takes the place of class.

 

Schedule for Children Receiving their First Communion (2nd Grade or older)

All families must attend the following two events:

March 18, 2012           (Sunday) First Communion Retreat @ Noon – 4:00 pm (lunch included), Parish Hall

Then, register for the set of classes (in Sr. Joan’s Room) that works best for you:
