Parish Council Preamble

Following the clear directives of Vatican Council 11 that "the laity should accustom themselves to working in the parish in close union with their priest, bringing to parish community their own and the parish's problems, as well as questions concerning human salvation, all of which should be examined and resolved by common deliberation, and more fully implement the lay apostolate and to help the people of this parish to realize their Christian opportunities, we, members of Christ the King Parish, do hereby establish a Parish Council as set forth in the following guidelines, and submit this Parish Statement.

We, who form the parish of Christ the King, recognize and affirm that we are called to be a people of God who live the Gospel through
WORD - Christian Formation
WORSHIP - Praise Filled Celebration
WITNESS - Community Outreach

 

Parish Council

On May 6, 2012 during the 8:15 Mass, Msgr. Delaney drew names for three new Parish Council members. The new members will serve a 3-year term. Those selected were:
Dave Montera
Dominic Montoya
Krissy Trujillo
Thank you for agreeing to serve our parish!
We also want to thank Colleen Russ and BenitoPangtay for agreeing to be back up alternates should any of the council members be unable to complete their term.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to those outgoing Council members who have served for three years and are now rotating off the Council:
