Religious Formation Schedule 2009-2010
Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade

 

Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade classes meet on Sundays from 9:30 am – 10:30 am

All classes for these ages will take place in the Formation Center (grades marked on the doors)

Pre-Kindergarten children should be four years old by June 1

 

First Semester (2009)

 

September 20              First Class for Kids (Formation Center) and Parents’ Meeting (Parish Hall)

November 14 & 15     Family Faith Fest ♦ (Families choose the time they prefer:

                                    Saturday from 3:00-4:30 pm OR Sunday from 9:15-10:45am)

November 22               No Class

December 6                 Class & Youth Mass ?

December 13               Class

December 20               No Class

December 23               (Wednesday) Practice for Children’s Christmas Mass @ 10 am in Church

December 24               (Thursday) Children’s Christmas Mass at 7:00 pm

December 27               No Class

 

?      Youth Mass:  All children in grades Pre-Kindergarten – 8 will attend the 10:45 am Youth Mass together after class.  Some Youth Masses will feature our teens and some will feature our younger students.

 

¨     The Family Faith Fest will take place two times – Saturday from 3pm – 4:30pm and Sunday from 9:15am – 10:45am.  Pick which time works best for your family – you only have to attend one.  Family Faith Fests take the place of class for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8.  Parents attend the event with their children.

All families must attend the following two events:

November 8, 2009      (Sunday) Meeting for Parents @ 9:45 am – 10:30 am, Church

March 28, 2010           (Sunday) First Communion Retreat @ Noon – 4:00 pm (lunch included)

Then, register for the set of classes that works best for you:

The celebration of First Communion will take place at the masses on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2, 2010.
