Adult Confirmation

Are you a baptized Catholic who had religious education as a child but never received the sacrament of Confirmation?  Do you actively practice your faith and wish you could be confirmed?  At St. Maria Goretti we offer classes to baptized Catholic adults who want to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.  (If you’re a Catholic who received only the sacrament of Baptism and never had any religious education, go to RCIA on the menu for more appropriate information).

Preparation for adult Confirmation is offered once a year and the following requirements must be met:

• Pre-registration for classes
• Attendance at five 90-minute sessions on Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
• Attendance at the parish mission
• Receipt of the sacrament of Reconciliation
• Submission of your Baptismal certificate
• Identification of an appropriate sponsor (a practicing Catholic who has been confirmed)
