This is a Psychiatric Hospital for the Elderly. Admission is by way of the GP and Consultant Psychologist.
It cares for the Elderly mentally ill patients after assessment for treatment and care.
Lindenley Ward is a long stay continuous care unit. Pinewood Ward is the Assessment ward and Oakdale a respite care ward.
The Nuffield Clinic has now moved to the hospital and is incorporated into the Hazeldene Unit which deals with day care for the elderly which includes group sessions, yoga and sessions for the bereaved etc. Further details can be obtained from the Administrator.
