Joseph Daniel Boxler
(December 18, 1990 - October 2, 2007)
Joseph Daniel Boxler, age 16, of Kennett
Square, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Christiana Hospital due to
injuries sustained in a one-car accident.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of
Daniel and Dorothy Bacino Boxler of Kennett Square. Joe was a junior
at Salesianum School in Wilmington, Del., where he was an honor student and
active on the tennis and cross country teams. Joe was a member at
Auburn Heights in Yorklyn, Del., where he enjoyed working on steam engines.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the St. Patrick Youth Ensemble,
where he played violin and drums. Joe also enjoyed fishing, boating,
and cars. At the age of 14, he started his own landscaping business.
Most of all he will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and
his love for family and friends.
In addition to his parents and brother
Anthony, of St. Joseph's University, Joe is survived by his paternal
grandmother Josephine Puma Boxler, of Landenberg, and a number of aunts,
uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents
James and Josephine Bacino, his paternal grandfather John A. Boxler, and his
uncle and Godfather Tom Bacino.
Friends and family are invited to visit
with his family from 6 - 9 p.m., Friday, October 5, at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral
home -- (610) 444-4116. The funeral home is located at 250 W. State
St., Kennett Square, Pa. Visiting hours will continue from 8:30 - 9:30
a.m. on Saturday, October 6, at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic
Church, 300 State Rd., West Grove, Pa, where his Mass of Christian Burial
will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick
Cemetery.
