Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (1895-1979), a theologian, and perhaps the most gifted orator of the Catholic Church in the Twentieth Century, wrote These Are the Sacraments to help explain the sacraments of the Catholic Church.  He is said to be the first "TV evangelist."   In the 1950s, his "Life is Worth Living" program reached 25 million viewers and was the top-rated TV show in America.  Archbishop Sheen was a prolific writer and published wrote more than 100 books and articles about the Church.
