Eucharistic
Ministers: This is a ministry where parishioners are commissioned to
help minister the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass -- especially on
Sunday, Holy Days, holidays, and daily Mass. As of spring, 2004,
there are 32 Eucharistic ministers at St. Pat's who, along with our
parish priest, take Communion to the sick and shut-ins in homes and

Evangelization - Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults (RCIA): RCIA is the process by which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with total formation of the person into believing, living, praying and serving with the Church community. This gradual development culminates in
baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist at Easter. Sponsors are always needed for the RCIA

Newsletter
Committee: The parish newsletter is published
quarterly. A small group of parishioners meet once before each
issue to discuss possible stories and to make assignments. A
typical committee member donates five to 10 hours for each issue for
attending a meeting and writing a story. A support group
helps in preparing the newsletter for distribution throughout the

Parish
Religious Education Program (PREP) - Teacher/Teacher's Aide: A program of religious education is provided for all students, grade K-8, who attend public schools. PREP is held in the school
every Sunday morning, Monday afternoon and evening, and Wednesday afternoon during the school year. The teacher instructs preschool or elementary PREP
classes. The teacher's aide assists in the classroom during religious education program.
