Parish Boundaries

Did you know the parish encompasses 60 square miles of Southern Chester County?

The boundaries are as follows:

Glen Hall Road from Rt. 162 to Brandywine Drive; to Northbrook Road; to Wawaset Road (Rt. 842); to Red Lion Road; to Comine Road; to Wawaset Road; to Parkersville Road; to Savery's Mill Road; to U.S. Rt. 1; to Kennett Pike (Rt. 52); to the Delaware State line; to the western boundary of New Garden Township line; to Avondale Road; to Union Road; to Newark Road; to Doe Run Road (Rt. 82); to McCorcle's Rock Road; to Brandywine Creek Road; to Harvey's Bridge Road; to Embreeville Road (Rt. 162); to Glenhall Road.

Over 28 percent of our parish families live within the Kennett Square Borough, while the rest (more than 1,100 families) live in the townships.  St. Patrick Church is the "mother parish" of this part of the county.  At one time, our parish encompassed everything that now includes Sacred Heart in Oxford; Assumption BVM in West Grove; St. Gabriel in New Garden, and a large part of St. Cornelius in Chadds Ford.
