Pride and Honor Flight is proud to have served the World War II veterans of Southeastern Michigan for the past six years. In that time 1,700 vets were flown on 28 trips, at no charge to themselves, to visit THEIR memorial in Washington, D.C. The veterans were escorted by 1,000 volunteer “guardians” who paid their own travel expenses for the honor of serving these veterans one last time. Jack and Faye Wisely are sad to close the program to which they have devoted so much for so long, but wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the donors and sponsors who made this dream a reality for THE GEATEST GENERATION.
