Christian Dance Network

Christian Dance Network, founded & directed by Joan K. O'Connell, is the non-profit organization producing this concert.  Providing a drop-in, weekly opportunity for adult women to move with prayer & teaching and producing this annual concert are two ways that CDN fulfills its mission to "encourage and teach people to embrace dance as an expression of worship of the Lord Jesus Christ."

Daughters of Zion

The Daughters of Zion lift up Jesus (Yeshua) our Messiah and minister to Him through Davidic style dance.  We are a multi-cultural group of ladies who love the land of Israel and our Jewish brothers and sisters. Since 1996, our call to dance has taken us into area churches, civic events, parades, ladies meetings, conferences, fairs, banquets and weddings.  We are under the covering of Rabbi Kirt Schneider and Adat Adonai Messianic Synagogue.

Dexter School of Dance, Music and the Performing Arts

The mission of Dexter School of Dance is to uplift and empower students as they experience the arts. The School offers dance classes in creative movement, modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop, jazz, tap, ballroom, as well as offering music lessons. Fueled & Aflame

Fueled & Aflame is a contemporary Christian dance company founded by Carla Crowe and housed in Arts in Motion studio in Ann Arbor. The company consists of 22 trained dancers from different church backgrounds. Our vision is to use dance to draw people into a deeper level of worship. graceFULL dance ensemble was founded by Liz Joynt-Sandberg in 1997 as a ministry of Mount Pleasant Community Church in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. More recently, graceFULL became a performing company of Vision Studio of the Performing Arts. As an ensemble, graceFULL embraces excellence in the world of dance using it as a means and a language with which to explore and express ideas about Christianity and to worship God.

"Oh Be Joyful"

"Oh Be Joyful" is a youth dance troupe directed by Tricia Wise.  Members, selected through audition, participate in an intensive summer workshop, training and preparing a set of dances for ministry. Our goal is to use dance to bless the Body of Christ and bring the Good news of Jesus Christ.   wisetb@comcast.net

Metro in Motion

Metro In Motion, "Broken" Steps, is a ministry of Good News Gang Metro CDC (GNGM).  GNGM, now 15 years old, is located in Southwest Detroit.  It is a multi-cultural outreach ministry supporting the entire Detroit area with food, clothing, used cars, housing, furnishings, and emotional and spiritual support.  Pastor Patricia Marks is the director of the Metro In Motion Creative Arts program. Metro In Motion has traveled throughout the Midwest, ministering in urban dancing.  Metro In Motion was featured in a Christian music video shown nation wide.
The dancers will be traveling to France, August 2005.

Thunderous Grace Dance Ministry

The mission of Thunderous Grace Dance Ministry, previously Christian Love Fellowship (CLF) Dance Ministry, is to glorify God and minister to Him and the saints of the Lord through dance.  We express the Word of God to others through dance to edify, encourage, and lead God's people into praise and worship of the Father.

Warrior Bride Dance Ministries

Warrior Bride Dance Ministries was founded in late 2004 by Heather Roa. This is Heather’s first performance piece. She has been a member of Fueled & Aflame since May 2001, growing and developing in her call to dance for Jesus. She plans to take this call and ministry with her into the world of missions and continue “dancing the dance of the bridegroom” wherever the Lord takes her and her family in the future.
