Faith Formation
Our Faith Formation program, formerly known as CCD, assists the families of our parish exercise their responsibility to hand on their faith to their children.
Although celebration of the sacraments is an important moment in the life of our children, the heart of Faith Formation is weekly prayer at home and at the parish.
Faith Formation provides religious instruction for public and private (non-parochial) students from Grade 1 until Grade 8. Classes run from September until May. All our catechists and assistants are volunteers from the parish.
There is a two-year preparation period for children receiving First Reconciliation/Confession and First Communion. If your child is to receive First Communion, please submit a copy of his/her baptismal certificate if not already on file. This is not needed if your child was baptized at St. Barnabas.
