The present choir was instigated by Fr Michael Griffiths at the end of 1994 and has been going for 11 years. We meet at 7.45pm for 1.5 hours on Thursday evenings in the church

Our music ranges from Gregorian chant, through Taize and Rizza, to the more complex motets.

We have sung at the cathedral for the ordination of Fr Maurice and two other former Anglican clergy.

We are affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music, which has enabled our attendance at organ and singing workshops, as well as allowing us to join in with other groups for a Songs of Praise, a Peace Service at the cathedral and other ecumenical events. We have also sung at several weddings and a funeral.

We sing for Remembrance Sunday, Advent, Lent, Holy Week, the Easter and Christmas Vigils and some other Sundays, such as Pentecost and Mothering Sunday.

We are very happy to involve new members at any time.
