WORSHIP AND SPIRITUALITY
| Adoration Chapel Eucharistic adoration is a special time to spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The chapel is located in church and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |

Altar Servers Open to boys and girls, grade 4 through high school, willing to commit for an entire school year. Altar servers are trained to assist at parish liturgies. |

Altar Society Men and women volunteers work and pray together to keep our church beautiful. Responsibilities include the care of the altar, sanctuary, altar linens, plants, flowers & making altar cloths and liturgical banners. Meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in Providence Hall. |

EXTRAORDINARY MinisterS of HOLY COMMUNION...Assist
with the distribution of Holy Communion at all Masses, to the sick and
shut-ins. Training is provided by the Archdiocese once a year. |

Lectors...Proclaim the Holy Scriptures during the Mass celebration. They encourage the parishioners to more active participation in the Mass. |
|
Music Ministry...Includes cantors, organist and adult choirs. Participation in this ministry is open to any adult who feels called to praise God in song. Prior training is not necessary. Attendance at one rehearsal and one Mass a week is required. |

Prayer Line...If you or someone you know are in need of prayer, our prayer line provides that personal connection with our parish community. Call Joan Melancon at 467-5760 to have a name added to the list, or to join in offering prayer. |

LIFE TEEN: A dynamic ministry for 9th-12th graders designed to bring them closer to Christ and His Church. Come check it out: LIFE TEEN Mass is every Sunday at 6:00pm, followed by LIFE Night. There are two retreats a year and numerous other activities. |

Ushers Men and women who are ministers of hospitality and assist in welcoming people, taking up the collection, and directing the flow of traffic at church services. |
CHRISTIAN FORMATION

Baptismal Seminars Held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Church office. It is a ministry that gives parents the confidence and ability to foster the religious development of their children. Make arrangements 2 months before the expected birth.. |

RCIA The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process for welcoming adults into the Roman Catholic Church. We invite people who were not baptized or not confirmed. Any Catholic wishing to update their faith may join RCIA. Volunteer sponsors are always needed for each person as well as helping on the core team. This group meets on Thursday nights in the church office at 7:00 pm. |

School...Recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1994, provides a quality Catholic education with a commitment to a program that meets the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional and social needs of each student from Pre-K to 8th grade. Students attend mass weekly, religion classes daily, and weekly enrichment classes in P.E., library, music, Spanish and computer lab. A full time counselor, resource teacher, and honors classes are available. Many extra-curricular activities are offered. Before/after school care is available. |

Scouting We have scouting programs for girls from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. The boys' program is from first grade to 18 years old. Adult volunteers run both programs. |
COMMUNITY BUILDING

Family Life...The goal of this ministry is to awaken, guide, and inspire the Catholic family. The Supper and Substance Program for married couples; marriage preparation for engaged couples, and Family Day are just a few ways that the family is supported. |

Fellowship...This ministry hosts a variety of socials following special liturgies and events for our church throughout the year. Open to men and women. |
|
Hispanic Ministry...Provides religious, spiritual, social, family activities for our Spanish parishioners. A Spanish Mass is celebrated on Saturday night at 6:00. |
OUTREACH

Knights of Columbus...A worldwide Catholic organization for men age 18 and older. God, family and community are the priorities of the Knights. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. |

Right To Life The focus of this ministry is to inform and educate parishioners about life issues on abortion, infanticide and euthanasia by providing literature and activities though the year. |

OUTREACH MINISTRY A ministry to the poor and needy of our parish and our surrounding community by providing food, financial assistance and support. The Outreach Ministry has a food bank in the church office building (side entrance), which is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11:30am. |
ADMINISTRATION

Garden Ministry...Maintains our gardens. Team members are scheduled for 3 hours every other month. |

Office Volunteers...Office help is needed to answer phones, stuff envelopes, assist with mailings, run errands, and a variety of tasks. |
|
Parish Fair...Held in April each year, it has a two-fold function: to bring all parish ministries together to work as a community, and as a major fund raiser. |
|
PAstoral Council...Serves as an advisory to the pastor, responsible for reviewing, evaluating, coordinating and unifying the parish activities. Membership is open to all men and women willing to make a three year commitment. The council meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the church office. |
|
School Board The board assists the pastor and principal with operational policy decisions and financial decision making relating to the school. The board meets the second Thursday of each month from August through May. |
|
School Parents Club...The objectives of the organization are to complement the efforts of the school in striving towards the goal of Catholic Education. Contact the school office for meeting dates, times and location. |
