The Rev. Mr. Edward Hegnauer joins us at St. Aloysius. Ted is a deacon of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., and is completing his studies at the Seminary at Seton Hall. God willing, he will be ordained to the priesthood in the Spring. The order of deacon is the ministry of service. Deacons assist at the altar, preach, baptize, witness marriages, conduct burial, final commendation services and wake vigils, and are also concerned with the needs of the poor among us.
