We in the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Aloysius, invite you to join us in this year’s activities. Monthly meetings are held from September to May. We sponsor several special events such as the annual Communion Breakfast at the Essex Fells Country Club in October, a Christmas party at the Parish Center, and a Spring luncheon in April. In addition, our members take turns cleaning the altar. We also raise funds for those in need, especially for the holidays.

Each of our meetings begins with the rosary at 7:30 PM and is followed by a general meeting at 8:00 PM. We usually have a speaker at each meeting. We participate in the living rosary at the May crowning. We celebrate Rosary Sunday at the 12-noon mass on the first Sunday of each month beginning in November and ending in May. On this Sunday we recite the rosary before mass, quietly walk to the back of the church and process into church before the priest, altar servers and lector. This January 2004, a special day of recollection will be held at the Mother House at Mount Saint Dominic.

The Rosarians enjoy a mix of spiritual and social gatherings. We look forward to seeing you.
